Culture Channel TV works on the basis of co-creation and community building and offers its users a wide range of possibilities through innovative approach on video streaming and user interactions.

Culture Channel TV users can watch cultural performances Live or as On-demand at home on their couch in a unique 360-degree experience. Culture Channel TV creates an immersive experience as if your favorite concert is playing in your living room!

What makes 'Culture Channel' unique?

Our platform specializes in 360-degree (and 180-degree) video streaming and VR capabilities of both live and as on-demand. We aim to be at the forefront of content creation and unique user experiences around culture and performance arts.

In the field of 360-degree video, there was no platform yet that could facilitate what we needed. This product is important to our customers because it unlocks, in a simple way, high-quality 360º and VR video content tailored to the unique Culture and Art performances space. Through our unique approach and tailored user experience, our online audience, content creators and content sponsors, all get their value for money.

Furthermore, creating a unique online ticket purchase system which restricts users from re-sharing their online ticket was a challenge. For example, Live events created in YouTube, Vimeo, etc can be easily shared by ticket purchasers to others resulting in misuse of a single ticket purchase. There was no plug-and-play system available for this specific scenario and therefore Webbit21 came up with an interesting solution to address this issue.

Culture Channel TV also provides the possibility for paying sponsors and/or advertisers to giveaway unique online tickets to their stakeholders. Furthermore, the platform can integrate advertising and user interfaces where users can interact with AR & VR elements within its video contents. It is even possible to offer tailored advertising for sponsors based on customer profile interests and contents.

Why not a ready-made solution?

Because in the field of 360-degree video, there was no platform yet that could facilitate all the unique functionalities we needed. The possibilities with Culture Channel TV is unlike any other platforms out there.

From providing unique online tickets, creating tailored event projections for various user perspectives, ‘interval-rooms’, integrating AR experiences, etc., our platform aims to be a full media content platform coupled with high-quality marketing, financial and technical tools.

Even if, at some point, someone replicates all of the current features, it will be still very challenging for them to implement new features and change requests in a matter of just days. We were amazed at how fast many feature requests and changes were implemented (sometimes within a matter of just minutes!).
